The Rath Foundation - An Enduring Legacy at UW-Madison

The Rath scholarship provided a level of financial independence and freedom that most college students don’t get the opportunity to experience. It allowed me to focus my energy on coursework, student organizations, and extracurricular activities. Most importantly, it allowed me to graduate from the UW debt-free. As a Rath scholar, I was offered multiple internships with well respected organizations. One of those internships led to a fulltime position after graduation. I also progressed through a series of professional actuarial exams relatively quickly thanks to my UW actuarial program education. I am still working for the company that hired me upon graduation from the UW, and I have made significant career strides since then, thanks in large part to my UW education.
