The Rath Foundation - An Enduring Legacy at UW-Madison

This scholarship gave me great peace of mind as I pursued my education. It showed me that I was supported by members of the greater Madison community and allowed me to pursue my passions and take charge of my education without the worry of the high cost of my college experience. I felt provided for which made me recognize how valuable a UW education is and how I was extremely fortunate. Thank you for giving me the freedom to learn and to serve by generously supporting my education. Because of your gift, I was able to dedicate a year of service to an inner-city school after graduation because I did not have student loan debts to repay. The communication skills and experiences that I honed at UW– Madison helped me in this role and, most importantly, pushed me to keep learning and growing. I recognize that my education was a tremendous gift, as is my life, and I am driven to do the best that I can with both. Today, my life is one of permanent service as a religious sister with the Daughters of St. Paul.
