The Rath Foundation - An Enduring Legacy at UW-Madison
UW Law School was full of smart and interesting faculty and students, who were passionate not only about the academic part of the law, but in making great lawyers who could make a difference in their communities. It was this "law in action" focus that made my law school experience feel special, and that prepared me to hit the ground running as a lawyer after graduation. Being able to focus on my studies without additional financial pressures was a huge weight off of my shoulders. I was also lucky to be able to pursue a career after graduation without having to
focus on repaying student loan debt or focusing on compensation over quality of life in seeking out jobs.

I have donated to UW–Madison Law School every year since graduation in the hopes of making things easier for future Wisconsin lawyers. Philanthropy has also been an important part of my life because I know firsthand the impact that gifts can have on people's lives.
