JAYLEN BROWN I look forward to learning more about my intended majors, joining the club volleyball team, and meeting new people! I have lived all over the Windy City, most recently in the South Side, close to Midway Airport. I am double majoring in economics and actuarial science and minoring in data science. This scholarship will be put toward the fees associated with attending the UW, specifically buying books and paying other fees. I really appreciate the scholarship. Thank you so much! MADISON COFIELD I am very excited to further my knowledge in areas that interest me. UW–Madison has many courses that I’m interested in taking, even if they are not directly related to my major, such as philosophy, music studies, and another language, to name a few. Even being in a new environment is something I am looking forward to, from the lakefront to the dorm room to new professors to build relationships with. There are people to meet and places to explore in Madison, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do these things. I’m also looking forward to expanding what I already know in the business world. The UW has a spectacular business school that has a major specific to finance, which is what I am most excited to learn about. While there are hundreds of new things to do, I know I will find a home in anything business-related because it is my passion.
