WISCONSIN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Thank you for the opportunity to share recent progress made at the Wisconsin School of Business (WSB). Please accept my deepest gratitude for your ongoing support, which has played a pivotal role in driving the remarkable progress and achievements of WSB during the 2022–23 academic year. It was a year with many new initiatives and investments in our community. I’m pleased to have the opportunity to highlight a selection of these achievements. Empowering future leaders: We are proud of the strides that we have made in enriching academic experiences and preparing our students for dynamic careers in the business world. During this past year we have successfully launched several groundbreaking programs, such as the consulting certificate. This initiative has not only garnered enthusiastic participation across campus but also has allowed industry leaders to engage with students, enabling them to make connections and pursue their career aspirations. As an example, our Marketing Leadership Summit, hosted in September 2022, brought together nearly 300 students, academics, alumni, and industry leaders, including speakers from PepsiCo, Adobe, Wharton School of Business, and Duke University. Elevating career trajectories: Our commitment to empowering students extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by our record-breaking employment outcomes in 2022–23. With an impressive 94 percent of undergraduate students having secured employment within six months of graduation and achieving a record-high average salary exceeding $73,000, our Career Forward program is making a tangible impact on the professional trajectories of our graduates. From innovative job shadowing programs to immersive career treks, we are steadfast in our commitment
